We want you to have an enjoyable experience whilst using our website but would ask that you please do not copy anything from our websites and catalogues other than for your own use. Do not use any images of Eggcellent Lighting products without our prior permission.

The Eggcellent Lighting website is as accurate and as up-to-date as we can possibly make it, but we reserve the right to make changes and (because we are human) to make the occasional error. If you find anything of concern, please let us know.


We want you to be absolutely happy with our products, if for any reason they fall short of your expectations you can return your product to us. The Sounds U Like is covered by a manufacturer’s warranty.

Pricing & Stock

Every effort is made to ensure that pricing is as accurate as possible. The correct price for any product is that displayed on the website at the time we receive your order to be fulfilled via the website.

If an item is on sale, it might have been sold on a sister company website or catalogue. If so, the ‘was’ price will always be the highest price in the last 12 months via any of our outlets which include retail partners, and it will have been at that price for at least 28 consecutive days. The ‘now’ price will always be the lowest price it has ever been via any of our companies, websites or catalogues.

We always ensure stock levels are as accurate as possible, and we always try to keep items in stock ready to be sent to you as soon as you want them. If there is a delay in despatching an item to you for whatever reason we will let you know using the email you have supplied to use during the purchase process.

Ordering & Payment

Orders are only accepted once we have dispatched them. We might not be able to accept your order if:

  • your funds do not clear when paying by credit card or debit card (We do not accept cash or cheques)
  • we have made a pricing or product description error
  • a product is out of stock, is not available, or was a sale item and all stock has cleared
  • we believe you are not using our website responsibly

Fraud protection is important to us so If we suspect that your card has been stolen and someone else is using it then we will not sell the goods to them. For this reason, we reserve the right to refuse any order and at any time.

We accept credit card and debit card payments via our secure website only. Our retail outlet partners may accept other methods of payment for our products that they stock.


We offer delivery to mainland UK. We deliver from Monday to Friday. If more than 7 days have passed since we confirmed dispatch and your order has not arrived, then please get in touch with our team at

If we do not have stock of an item then we will tell you that it is out of stock, and we will send it to you as soon as stock comes in. If you want to cancel that item, you can.

If you give us your order by 6:00pm then we will normally despatch it the next day, as long as we have the items in stock.

For your protection, your first order with us can only be delivered to the same address as that on the credit or debit card. This is to prevent someone who has stolen your card from using it to buy goods from us. After that first order, you can choose to have the goods delivered anywhere.

Cancellations & Returns

If you are returning a product because it is faulty, or something is wrong then we will pay for it to be returned to us. The Customer Care Team will arrange for the items to be collected.

You can return any item for any reason whatsoever, even if you have just changed your mind, within 14 days of receipt of the order. This is in addition to your rights under the Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations 2000.

If you do send goods back for any reason other than a fault you will normally be asked to pay the carriage charges – we could offer this for ‘free’, but of course there is really no such thing, we would just have to recover the costs in our prices. We would rather be completely straight with you, keep our prices as low as possible, and just ask you to pay if you choose to return anything.

You agree not to infringe the copyright of our websites and catalogues or any other intellectual property (for example by copying and reusing images, design elements, our name or any Trademarked names).

Our websites and catalogues are produced as accurately as possible, but to the fullest extent permitted by the law we make no representations, warranties (express or implied) with respect to the content.

We exclude to the fullest extent permissible by law any and all liability howsoever arising for any faults, inaccuracies or omissions relating to our websites and catalogues and the unavailability of our website.

No director, employee or representative will be liable whether in contract, tort, negligence or otherwise, for any loss or damage whether direct or indirect arising out of or in connection with your use of our websites or catalogues, and products including, without limitation, damage to software or hardware, economic loss, loss of data, consequential damage, loss of or damage to property and claims of third parties.

None of these exclusions and limitations are intended to limit any rights you have as a customer, or any statutory rights which may not be excluded, nor in any way to exclude or limit our liability to you for death or personal injury resulting from our negligence or that of our agents, representatives or employees.

Each of the above exclusions and/or limitations shall be construed as a separate and severable provision of these terms.

Our terms and conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales, and you agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Courts of England and Wales.
